Our Burwood Activity Centre was officially inaugurated
On August 8, 2015, we held a grand opening ceremony for our new Burwood Activity Centre at Auburn Civic Centre. Nearly 250 members and guests attended this special celebration.
Special guests attended were:
• The Hon. Ernest WONG, MLC
• Mayor Le LAM ( Emeritus Mayor), Auburn Council
• Mr. (Nick) Nickola LALICH, MP
• Shandong University For The Aged (China) – Principle and their executives
• Aspire College – School executives and teachers
Our celebration began with “dun dun qiang, dun dun qiang” a very happy musical performance by a waist drum team. It was then followed by a grand opening ceremony, speeches, song and dance performances, and Origin Point illustration. It was concluded with a square dance “Little Apple” performed by Aspire Chinese community service.
In the afternoon, after a delicious lunch provided by NSW MSA, we joined in ballroom dancing and waltzed together in the hall. We all had a wonderful time.
