The celebration of “Grandparents’ Day” is one of the largest events the Association has put together since its founding. It marks the development and growth of the Association of Multicultural Seniors. It also shows that our social influence and important role have reached new heights in the community.
The success of this party was made possible from the strong leadership of our president and benefited from many organisers and staff members like Qi Meiyun, Lu Wei and Michelle Cher, who worked tirelessly. Everyone from different ethnic groups, different and social backgrounds were in attendance.
Our impact has allowed senior members of the community to interact with each other, build new lasting friendships and escape any loneliness they might be experiencing. The physical and mental activities provided help to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This will surely guide us to create a better environment for seniors!
We are thankful for our community, and we especially are thankful for our beautiful life here in multicultural Australia.
