General Report for April 2025

This month, the “Multicultural Seniors Association” continued have dance halls open in various communities from Monday to Friday. It is deeply loved by the majority of middle-aged and elderly friends. President Dou is always on site. All volunteers provided high-quality assistance for the dance halls. In particular, the Granville dance hall is the most popular.

The Auburn Town Hall dance hall is under the attentive care of all volunteers. It operates smoothly. Under the leadership of teachers J&J, the New Vogues Dance training class. Dancers work hard together to learn the new dances and to consolidate and improve their court dancing skills. The learning atmosphere is good.

The Pennant Hills Community Centre dance hall continues to operate. Volunteers serve enthusiastically. Teacher Wang Shu cooperates in teaching dance. The number of dancers has increased recently.

The “Australian Russia-Chinese Friendship Association” and the ” Multicultural Seniors Association ” grandly held large-scale events to share the unique Russian culture and food.

MSA organised one-day tours on Easter Saturday.

The home-based elderly care services of the “Australian Russia-Chinese Friendship Association” have always been well received.  Activities run every Tuesday at the Cabramatta Community Centre. Pick up and drop off help the elderly to attend these social activities. Free lunch is also provided.

On the afternoon of April 15, the Home Care Service Centre sent manager Brenda to Auburn to help friends in the group answer questions. She also personally called the objectives that need to be evaluated. She provided proxy translation services for those who are not good at English. She gave policy research suggestions to the current service objectives. She provided telephone services to those who wanted to keep up with the progress. Everyone was very satisfied. Thank you Brenda for taking time out of her busy schedule to solve everyone’s problems. Thank you.

On April 29, the Cabramatta Community Centre celebrated the birthday of this month’s members. The atmosphere warmed my heart. Lovely praise… It’s great to have an organization!

On April 7, the Preparatory Committee for The Second “Zai Su Fang Hua Competition” of the two Associations was officially established. A press conference was held and detailed rules were formulated.
