Everyone actively participated in the community charity performance despite the cold weather, fully reflecting the dedication of our Chinese people to actively participate in multiculturalism and promote community development, which is worthy of praise! And pay high tribute to these members and staff! The event started with an opening performance, with the Jacaranda Art Troupe of the MSA “Playing the Waist Drum”, with uniform movements and brisk rhythm, which was surprising!Next, the Happy Art Troupe of the MSA performed the dance “Dreaming of the Grassland” and the Xinjiang dance “Yaliguna” of the Jasmine Art Troupe. Finally, the Jacaranda Choir of the MSA sang English songs (a. Australian National Anthem b. Edelweiss), with beautiful singing! It left a deep impression on people. The whole performance was warmly applauded by the audience from beginning to end. Some communities invited our art troupe on the spot and asked our actresses and actors to participate in performances within their communities.Behind the success is the result of everyone’s hard work, I would like to thank President Ge, General Director Nina, Director Yanqing, Shanshan, Kaixin, Yanhua and Teacher Brenda for their hard work. Thank you to all our actresses and actors and bands for their hard rehearsals. Here are some activities of several art groups: “Jacaranda Art Group”, “Blooming Fashion Art Group” and “Huanang Nianhua Art Group”.

The choir of the Jacaranda Art Troupe, led by head Shanshan, and with the cooperation of vocal, piano and keyboard teachers, is full of energy and singing. Everyone started by learning to read music and practise singing, and now they can sing many songs in different tones. In addition to singing Chinese songs, they also learned to sing a lot of English songs. This is not easy for those middle-aged and elderly students, and it really is a leap forward! They also actively participated in community charity performances, and the audience responded very well to their pleasant songs!

In the Huayang Nianhua Art Group, also known as the model group, is led by the two leaders Qingxiu and Jenny Zhou, and under the demonstration and guidance of teacher Melissa the students showed confidence and elegance through the model show with their upright posture and heroic and proud momentum!

Blooming Fashion Art Group, led by group leader Millie and under the personal guidance of teacher Melissa, the students took learning folk dance as their hobby. Overcoming difficulties and actively rehearsing, their movements were neat and their dance postures were graceful, and they danced out the essence of folk dance.

We believe that under the leadership of President Ge and President Dou, and with the concerted efforts of all volunteers, the two Association will definitely keep up the level of the two associations and get better and better!
