March 24th was the exiting day of all overseas Chinese in Sydney, and was also the happiest day for all the members and volunteers of MSA. On this day, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his wife, Ms. Cheng Hong, visited Sydney, Australia. For the arrival of this day,the volunteer groups led by Ms. Qi Meiyun and Ms. Bai He who made a comprehensive and meticulous preparation. As one of the Chinese associations in Australia, MSA based on the elderly members. In this welcome event, our lovely members were the most grateful people, you all did very good. You were our strongest force of the association !
This day, the five-star red flag drifted with the wind, oblique wind and drizzling rain wet face. The members and volunteers on time arrived the welcome scene ,which was arranged by Bai He. They were wearing red uniforms that integrated into the red ocean with the bright flags and the red welcome posters. The MSA team was in order and the preparation was careful. Everyone sang “My Motherland”, expressing deep nostalgia of the motherland. In the seven and an half hours of waiting, 58 members and volunteers in red uniforms were self-disciplined and orderly, regardless of the layout of the scene, singing the national anthem, noon meal and withdrawal of cleaning, which showed the highest quality of overseas Chinese: warm and orderly; affectionate and sensible. Thank you to all members, your joining strengthened the ranks of the association. Thank you for giving us the most powerful supports in each event. Although our members had mostly entered into old age. But in traditional Chinese said: Old people may still cherish high aspirations. President of MSA Ms. Ge also thanked you to all members and volunteers. You were our family in MSA and also our strongest force of the association.
Finally, thanked to Ms. Tang, Ms. Qi Meiyun, Ms. Bai He, Ms. Yao Shimin as the representative of the volunteer group and performing arts groups for your hard work.
