Mr Wenliang Qiu’s funeral ceremony – 28 Jan 2018

Dear Members of All NSW Multicultural Seniors Association,

Hello everyone!

Today, I, Genia, head of the association of Chinese and Russian descendants of cultural preservation, my assistant Yu Jie, head of Marrickville venue Yuan Shilian, head of Cabramatta venue Nick, head of the Friendship Association musical instrument troupe Chen Huirong, attended Executive director of the association Mr. Wenliang Qiu’s funeral ceremony.

I represent our community as master of the farewell ceremony, to thank teacher Qiu for contribution to our community in just a few months, to express our sympathy and condolences to his son Jin Qiu.

Mr Xu, leader of Beijing Community Association and Minister of the Salvation Army presided the ceremony as well.

All the members of the Little Red Riding Hood sang the group song  “we meet in Sydney,” for teacher Qiu, it was the last time.

Under a serious atmosphere of unity at the funeral ceremony, everybody said good bye to him. Mr Qiu, a good member of our community is away forever from us.

His story will be recorded in our community nation’s hero book in New South Wales.
