NSW MSA Senior Week Event – 14.4.2018

Dear all NSW Multicultural Seniors Association members !

Today, April 14th, 2018, early morning, a sunny day, as early as 7:30 Lu Wei, Lily, Wu Guiyun, Wu Guilan, Jiang Guiying, Grace, Wu Yanping, Lu Lin, and others have already arrived at the venue to bear their responsibility to begin preparations for the event, Assistant of President, Baihe has careful planed the event, the slogan has written by the secretary Gao Hong, immediately hung on the rostrum. The venue was decorated very bright, and the event was officially held at 10:00 a.m.  the Director, Liudan played his role excellent and each activity was carried out smoothly and step by step.

2) Greg Commings, Mayor of Cumberland Council.

3) Julia Finn MP. 

4) George Campbell, Labor Party Candidate.

5) Lihua Lin, The Honourable Mayor of Auburn.

6) Qingsong Chen, Chairman of Sydney Trade Union.

7) Singatulin from Metro Assist.

8) Ziggy, NSW MSA sponsor. 

Above leaders attended the event and addressed separately.

Mr. Chen Qingsong, President of the General Labor Union, gave us three-case books to the Senior Citizens Week as free gift, It allowed the Chinese to find out about the tearful history of the early Australian gold rush Chinese. Ernest Chen, member of Burwood Council, has attended our event during his busy schedule and also brought some delicious cake to reward all volunteers and he wishes all the seniors a very happy and have a good time !

The 400 middle-aged and older people attending the event,  each of them was wearing a festive costume to celebrate the Senior Week. After lunch,  the Director Liu Dan lead everyone to the dance floor and start dance. Those grey-haired seniors danced so beautiful as young people. They are as lively and lovely as they are. They are so happy and to share the joy and happiness of living in this beautiful and fertile land in Australia! 

Due to all the member’s efforts, the celebration of the Senior week ended at 2 pm successfully, every middle-aged and seniors have left the venue with a satisfied smile! 

In the end, with the hard work of all the directors and volunteers, the entire venue was back to the normal, neat and tidy!

The melodious melody sounded, the elegant and graceful paces followed, graceful and colourful dance took place! Today, the song like the tide, flowers are like the sea; today, the beauty is like the clouds and handsome man is like forest !

New South Wales Multicultural Seniors Association members celebrate their own festival ! the gongs and drums will burst with thunderous applause ! The Granville City Hall was full with many capable members ! the mayor came, and the congressman came,  gathered and joined in the event.

Today, the association of friends led by the NSW MSA president Agathia Yin Lan Ge has also dedicated a festive feast for the seniors and middle-aged friends! The artistic team led by the artistic director Liu Dan has created a splendid literary feast for everyone!

In today’s event, Direct Liu Dan carefully planned the entrance ceremony, is unique and refreshing. The waist drum team is full of passion, the cheongsam team is warm and elegant, and the Yangko team is happy and joyful.

On the stage, colourful dresses dance around the beam; under the stage, the applause is constantly, smiling like the flowers brilliant.  They aren’t  the grey-haired seniors, this is a group of plucking a piece of white cloud  bleached hair of the dreamers !

Castle Peak is still there, sunset is red.  We thankful for your accompany on the journey of our dream, the friendship association, our happy harbour !
