This forum will provide an opportunity for organisations in the Cumberland area of west Sydney to connect and collaborate to create positive change for older adults in the West. Healthy Ageing and Age Friendly Cities expert, the forum will feature keynote speakers and examples of healthy ageing in practice. Participants will enhance their understanding of healthy ageing and explore the WHO Age Friendly Cities principles.
Our association participated in the NSW Government’s health ageing forum. The meeting was held at the Granville Youth & Community Center 3A Memorial Drive Granville at 10:30 am. The NSW Service Bureau introduced the NSW Government to reduce the cost of living for residents. The government has concentrated more than 40 government rebates and preferential services on one platform, making applications easier and easier including project:
Energy and Water:
1. Household energy bill repayment.
2. New State gas fee refund.
3. Retirement tax refunds.
4. Energy-saving home appliances replacement offers.
5. Medical energy fee rebate.
6. Life support equipment returns.
7. Low-income families return.

1. Third party compulsory insurance rebate.

Our Association was invited to perform two cultural programs: 1. Cheongsam Dance (Water Country Gentle) under the model team. 2. Boys trio (Prairie love song) Shepherd combination team.
