Sydney Government Home Care Agency Melbar “Celebrating the grandparents’ cultural performances and luncheon” at Granville Town Hall – 10 Carlton St, Granville On Sunday 3rd November 2019.
At 10 o’clock in the morning, the hostesses announced the celebration, followed by the speech by Melbar General Manager Fred Cloos. The President Ge Yinlan of NSW Multicultural Seniors Association gave a speech, appreciated Melbar’s achievements and shared Melbar’s perfect service. The President Gui Guilan of Beijing Time Bank delivered a speech and the President Han Zhilan of the Sino-Russian Cultural Heritage Association delivered a speech. The old “Mai” painter also presented “Aldan Melbar” to the “Peach Bird Chinese Painting”.
10:25 Cultural performances began; first was the Beijing Song Dance for “The Earth’s Spine” by the Song Ching Ling Foundation Art Troupe. The president Ge Yin Lan of the NSW Multicultural Seniors Association also enthusiastically improvised to use the Chinese-Russian bilingual solo “Light” (“Ayisha” guitar accompaniment). The art teams of NSW Multicultural Seniors Association performed solo, duet, chorus, song and dance, dance, cheongsam show, fashion show and so on. There are also other performances like “Twenty-four Tai Chi”, “Tai Chi Fan” and “Poetry Recitation” etc. The finale was performed by Yang Ying and 12 people fashion show featuring Melbar’s home-based. Total 15 programs are wonderful. At the meeting, Mr. Melbar was also invited to present awards to outstanding volunteers. A comprehensive introduction to the nature and function of the “Melbar” Australian Government Certified Professional Care Service provides participants with further understanding and participation. Finally, the General Assembly took a group photo of the group to commemorate. The cultural performance of the celebration came to an end.
Finally, the organizer provides a free meal of the main meal and the supplements and beverages, and the Chinese and Western cuisines. The chairman and general manager of “Melbar” raised a cup of greetings to all of the elders at the table.
