The Cumberland Council is pleased to partner with Auburn Central and DOOLEYS to host the 2019 Lunar New Year celebrations in Cumberland! The celebration took place on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Auburn Central and Auburn CBD Queen Street, including the main stage, street entertainment, food and free children’s activities.
The Drum Dance Art Troupe of NSW Multicultural Seniors Association representative of NSW Multicultural Seniors Association participated in the celebration of the Spring Festival, and the wonderful performances received rave reviews and great success!
The NSW Multicultural Seniors Association and our wonderful performances that the host has mentioned many times have made us remember the people of all nationalities. The audience applauded with warm applause for each of our performances!
