On the evening of February 16, 2019, the Australian Chinese Association held a large-scale parade on the “Chinese New Year Celebration” in the Chatswood District of Willoughby City. The on-site parade was initiated by Willoughby Mayor and the members of the Willoughby. The police band opened the way. More than 300 Chinese and overseas Chinese members of the Chinese Association were dressed in festive costumes. They were singing and dancing in a parade. The streets were surrounded by people and watched the applause. The music and the cheers came one after another. Together, it creates a sea of ​​joy. NSW Multicultural Seniors Association organized 5 teams of more than 120 literary and artistic phalanxes to perform the Lantern  parade performance, the cheongsam  team, the yangko team, the golden age band and the Little Red Riding Hood Art Troupe with a strong lineup and finale. In the parade, the performance of the celebration of the songs and the fitness of the double ball dance, twisting and jumping, dancing and spreading the Chinese national culture! The rich Chinese style, the joyful Chinese festival, the smart Spring Festival, Chinese and overseas Chinese gathered together, and greeted the ancestral home with joy!
